Privacy policy
This policy is short and simple on purpose: no tracking cookies, no tracking of individuals, and we only collect what's needed to answer you and keep the site working well.
1. When you contact us
Filling any form from this website (contact us form, start a project form, notify of future job openings form) shares your name, email address and a message. We use it to reply, put a quote together, and follow up on your project. Nothing more.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request ahead of a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, legitimate interest to notify you in case of job opening (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)). We don't use it for unrelated marketing, and we never sell it.
Retention: kept only as long as your enquiry, or any engagement that follows, requires, capped at 24 months after our last contact.
2. Traffic analytics
Traffic is measured through a self-hosted instance of Umami, an open-source, privacy-respecting analytics tool. It runs cookieless, anonymises everything it records, and can't identify any individual. What we see is aggregate only: language, browser, screen size, page views and button clicks.
This tells us what's landing and where the site should improve.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the site (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). This data is never sold, and most ad-blockers can strip it without affecting how the site works.
Retention: at most 6 months.
3. Cookies
The only cookie set by this site is for session management only when you log in to the customer area. Cleared on disconnect, necessary for technical reason. No tracking cookie.
4. Where your data lives
Contact enquiries and analytics are stored on a private server, encrypted at rest, hosted within the European Union.
5. Third parties
A few resources on this site are served by outside providers. None of them plant cookies here, but loading their files does share your IP address with them:
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to processing grounded in legitimate interest. To exercise any of these, or for any privacy question, reach us through the contact form.
